Join Story Weaver Joana Avi-Lorie for an intense write-in session on how to create compelling settings and why setting matters

Learn how to create compelling settings in this Write Here, Write Now workshop from SCCAN Storyteller Collective!

In climate stories, the setting is much more than the background of the events or a mood device. It can be a magic ever-evolving thing.

It can be a grieving ground, an imagined future, a treasure to protect and preserve at all costs.

Join us to learn and practice how to better create and use the setting of your story to better understand it and communicate it to others.

We hope the stories you will create can contribute to 1000 Better Stories podcast or blog, a part of SCCAN Storyteller Collective. As contributors you will eligible to apply for a SCCAN mini-grant of up to £250.

For more information get in touch with SCCAN Story Weaver on [email protected].
