Event Details

This is a networking event to discuss all things community composting. The event will be held in Lincoln Hall in Knightswood Community Centre, with the option of joining remotely via zoom using the centre’s hybrid working technology.

You will have a chance to discover why community composting is important, learn about different models of community composting, and discuss how to improve composting in West Glasgow.

We want to hear from community growers, community food organisations, local cafes, allotments, housing associations – you name it! If you want to connect with others who are passionate about composting, want to network and share thoughts and ideas, or are just curious to learn more, this event is for you. We hope we will support you to foster new collaborations and leave with practical ways forward for your own composting situation.

We will share a lunch of soup and sandwiches provided by Knightswood Community Cafe.
