Creating Our Planet Exhibition: Opening Night

Creating Our Planet is a community exhibition open to all concluding this year’s Glasgow Goes Green Festival, a collaborative event run by staff and students at universities across Glasgow. We chose the theme of ‘Creating Our Planet’ to recognise the shortcomings of COP26, the need for creative solutions to sustainability and the importance of the arts in representing and engaging with the climate crisis. Our hope is that the exhibition will demonstrate the need for a creative, interdisciplinary and multifaceted approach to the climate crisis, as well as providing an inclusive, educational and inspiring space for people to engage with the issues presented.

The opening night will take place on Friday 25th February, with music supplied by local DJs, celebrating the work of the contributors featured in the exhibition and concluding this year’s Glasgow Goes Green Festival. The free exhibition will run until Monday 28th February and is open to the public.
