Denim Upcycle Challenge Show

Raising awareness of the environmental impact of denim and other materials, especially the vast quantities of water used in their production.  So, let’s give worn-out denim a second life.  On Saturday 17th September, come and see the creativity on display of upcycled items in Selkirk Parish Church Hall between 10am and 12 noon.  And challenge yourself – could you upcycle something?  If so, download an entry form from selkirkparish.church.news, and submit your entry.

PS it doesn’t need to be made from denim:  the classes are:

CHILDREN’S CLASSES

1       Upcycled denim decorative item by an under 11 year old

2       Upcycled denim useful item by an under 11 year old

3       Upcycled denim decorative item by a 12 to 16 year old

4       Upcycled denim useful item by a 12 to 16 year old

ADULT CLASSES

5       An upcycled denim item of clothing

6       An upcycled denim decorative item

7       An upcycled denim useful item

8       An upcycled denim item not sewn

9       An item made from another upcycled material
