Event Details

Join us at sunset for an outdoor screening of a series of twelve short films created by Earthing Project. The films explore relationships between humans and the natural world through imagery, movement, music and storytelling. Earthing is a year-long art project, a collaboration among multidisciplinary artists and filmmakers.

The event will kick off with an introduction from the makers as well as local environmental groups Shrup Coop and Earth in Common, who will talk about their work and positive action around climate change. We will then screen the set of 12 films, pausing halfway through for contributions from poets Esa Aldegheri, Scott Cassidy, Ali Millar and Jennifer Williams. The event will conclude with music from DJ TaKt ArT and time for mingling and discussion.

The Pavilion Cafe will be selling delicious food and drink during the evening. Entry is free, however if you are able, we will be taking a suggested donation of £10 (inc. a free drink). Proceeds will be divided between the roof fund for The Pavilion Cafe and local environmental campaigns.

Please note: the films contain some instances of nudity as well as imagery that some may find disturbing. If you have any concerns about the content or want to know more about what to expect, please get in touch with [email protected].
