Event Details

A partnership event between Plastic Free Fife and Greener Kirkcaldy.

Join this free workshop to learn about eco- and health-friendly period products and the benefits they offer compared to conventional plastic pads and tampons.

In a safe, friendly environment we will take attendees through a programme of presentations and discussions. We will discuss why period plastic is a problem, what the eco-friendly alternatives are, how to use them and where to get them. We’ll be demonstrating samples of the different products, discussing their pros and cons, and provide details of how to make your own pads.

This workshop is for all those who have periods or are approaching menstruating age are welcome. Under 16s should be accompanied by an adult.

We welcome attendees who have never considered reusable period products before, those who have occasionally tried them, as well as those who are already using reusable products but would like to hear about other options.
