Friends of the Earth Scotland is hosting a webinar looking at the environmental and social impacts of the fashion industry, and how it can be changed for the better.
We have a fantastic line-up of speakers who’ll be focussing on different areas of the life of our clothes, from production to waste.
We’ll be joined by:
- Jemima Elliot, a freelance journalist working on garment worker rights
- Ursak Trunk from the Changing Markets Foundation on the hidden world of clothing waste exports
- Izzie Eriksen from ApparelXChange on the big opportunities for clothing reuse in Scotland
- Ruth Ogier from War on Want on how to create a fairer, more sustainable future for clothing
We’ll also have time to discuss the Circular Economy Bill, and how it can be used to tackle these issues.
