Event Details

This Feel-Good Workshop will be led by Becky Duncan of Open Aye (OpenAye.co.uk)

Outdoor photo walks connect people to nature, inspire creativity and leave people feeling good!

Becky has training in participatory facilitation, forest bathing and is a professional photographer. Becky has been running similar Wellbeing Of the Woods photo walk sessions for Scottish Forestry for a number of years and participants regularly report enhanced wellbeing after the workshops.

During the event participants will be led on a guided walk and invited to participate in set photo activities which may include experimenting with tips and techniques for taking better pics and tasks that encourage creativity in nature.

Participants may use any type of camera, from mobile phones, to SLRs, whatever they feel comfortable with. All abilities are welcome and everyone will gain something from the experience.

Participants must be 18 or over or accompanied by a paying adult over 18

Please note, this event is subject to change in response to government guidelines on covid-19.

"We work in the UK and around the world. We carry out conservation work that you can see from space, built from the ground up. We protect habitats, save species, and help to end the nature and climate emergency. We do this through five main work areas: science, species, places, people and policy."
