Event Details
We want your ideas about the kind of food system you want to see in East Glasgow in the future, and how this will impact our world. Our Food & Climate Cafe will use interactive discussion and activities to explore the different ways we could view our future food system, which would benefit people and planet.
This workshop is open to all and you don’t need any prior knowledge. We are running these cafes every three months over the next year to develop an action plan for local food systems change, so we need a diverse range of views and imaginations!
Agenda:
11am – Welcome and introduction
11.15am – Interactive discussion and activity
12.15pm – Reflections and feedback
12.30pm – Chat some more over lunch

Food & Climate Action in Glasgow
Over the next year, the Food & Climate Action project will be working across the city to grow community-led activity to face the challenges that climate change will bring for us all and our food system. We are a team based across six partnered organisations including: Glasgow Community Food Network, Glasgow Eco Trust, Urban Roots, St Paul’s Youth Forum, The Space, and Central & West Integration Network. We’ll be working to support increasing urban agriculture across the city and providing training and support on food and climate issues. Come join us at one of our events or workshops or get in touch at [email protected]
