The Growing Communities East Group is a support and networking group hosted by Glasgow Community Food Network’s Food & Climate Action Project to support individuals and local organisations in Glasgow’s East End to work on food and climate related projects together.
The group is open to organisations and individuals in Glasgow’s East End who are interested in or already working on food and/or climate activities. No prior knowledge needed!
Angus from The Social Kitchen and the Drill Hall Pantry will give a tour of the pantry and the training kitchen. He will lead a small discussion about food waste and how we handle that as organisations and about a class run in concert with GCFN about food waste reduction recipes.
