Learn how to tell and share your story of Climate Action in a workshop series from SCCAN Storyteller Collective!

Introduction to using audio for storytelling, 10am – 4pm Thursday 29 September, online.

Audio storytellers Katie Revell and Kaska Hempel will introduce you to the basics of podcasting to tell a compelling personal or organisation’s Climate Action story.

They will cover podcast design and peparation, interview techniques, audio recording, editing and publishing.

It will be a hands on interactive session with group discussions, 1:1 support for recording and editing, as well as time away from screen for personal reflection.

Previous participants said:

“Very comprehensive and hands on workshop”

“I really enjoyed learning about the editing of the clips, I thought it would be a lot harder.”

“Kaska and Katie were brilliant at explaining the basics of podcasting and were very patient amidst technical issues.”

We recommend this workshop as an introduction to audio recording and editing if you are interested in our ‘Place-based storytelling with sound walks’ workshop in October.

We hope the stories you will create can contribute to 1000 Better Stories podcast or blog, a part of SCCAN Storyteller Collective. As contributors you will eligible to apply for a SCCAN mini-grant of up to £250.
