We’re so excited to invite you all again to join us on Saturday, the 30th of September to our second Meanwhile In Leith festival!
With that being said, we have sad news and good news to share from the Meanwhile Site. First the sad news; we will be saying goodbye to the space that’s been our home for the last 2,5 years by the end of October. The Meanwhile Site is getting developed and our wee garden has to go. BUT here’s the good news: We’re not leaving without a bang! We have all been working hard to come up with a festival lineup that resembles the joy and community that has been created here over the last years! So, for one last time, we’re celebrating our wonderful community at the Meanwhile Site, a shared community space between Leith Community Growers, Out of the Blue, local artists, Rowanbank Environmental Arts & Education, and Leith DIY. We want to create a day for all of Leith to share the joy of growing, nature, culture and community. The day will be full of fun workshops, creative drop-in sessions, live music and local stallholders; from a capoeira performance to parkour and skate workshops, learning the basics of bread making, and creative plant ID sessions – we’ve got you covered.
Join us from 12 pm to celebrate the Meanwhile Site. Entrance to the festival is free of charge, however, some workshops require booking in advance. We are family and dog-friendly.
