Food waste is a major contributor to climate change and following on from PKC’s Food Waste Survey earlier in 2022, PKC Waste Minimisation Team, Pitlochry & District Climate Cafe and Sprout, the new local Community Eco Hub, have been working together on a Food waste reduction and recycling project over August and September which will finish with our Pitlochry Zero Waste Festival on Saturday 1st Oct from 1pm in the Pitlochry Town Hall.
This event is showcasing the various small actions that each household can take to reduce or recycle food waste and ultimately save money on food shops.
