Rising Clyde is launching their Glasgow-based, digital publication made for young people who care about the climate emergency. Our aim is to provide a platform that brings together news, stories and voices from an eco-perspective, offering climate journalism through every vertical.

What COP26 showed the world is that more action is required to tackle the climate emergency. It showed inspiring young people at the forefront of marches and demonstrations, demanding that those in power take immediate action.

Recently, we have seen the climate debate pushed back to the recesses of mainstream news, with the old guard opting instead to revert back to the front pages of party politics, rather than the crisis facing the planet. Climate change is the defining topic of our time and we’re aiming to treat it as such.
