Event Details

Are you a Fife-based household, business, community organisation or housing provider/landlord and interested in learning about the opportunities and challenges of reducing energy use and costs at a local level?

At this event you will hear about local energy systems and the opportunities and challenges they present for Fife.

In the first part of the event will share learnings from ScotCLUE – a project that investigated the opportunities available when integrating a locally managed energy system for the Levenmouth area.

In the second part of the event you’ll hear more about the opportunities and challenges and how different technologies work in practice in a local energy system, including wind energy, solar and storage, hydrogen and energy flexibility.

Guest speakers include:

• ORE catapult

• Smarter Grid Solutions

• Community Energy Scotland

• Greener Kirkcaldy

• The University of Strathclyde

This will be followed by a panel-led discussion on what learnings can be taken forward from the ScotCLUE project and a networking lunch.
