We want to tell 1000 Better Stories of community climate action to help everyone imagine a better and fairer future for all. Join us this Autumn to learn how to create powerful audio stories about what your own community and others are already doing, to help inspire the groundswell of change that’s so urgently needed.

Our Autumn Stories for Change workshop series will give you an easy to follow introduction to using audio for storytelling. We focus on easy to use, affordable or free equipment and software to make audio storytelling accessible for all.

We also help you share your story to a wider audience. You can:

publish the story you create during part 1 and 2 of training through our 1000 Better Stories podcast’s Everyday Changemaker series.

produce a longer episode for 1000 Better Stories podcast or an audio tour of your community projects (we have storytelling mini-grants to support this work).

Or even launch your own podcast!

Super Simple Audio Recording workshop on Tuesday, 22 of August, 10am-12pm is the first of four planned for this Autumn and it will cover:

data protection

hands on practice in recording

equipment and software tips for for recording in different situations

an opportunity to network with others

contributing your recorded interview to Everyday Changemaker series and joining SCCAN Storytelling Collective

It will give you great grounding for the other Stories for Change workshops should you wish to increase your audio storytelling skills further.
