Dr Sharon Pfleger will be opening North-East Climate week at the University with a talk about the impact of pharmaceuticals on the environment and how clinicians can become more eco-conscious prescribers. Talks can be attended in person or online and all talks will be recorded to be viewed after the event.
Dr Pfleger is a co-founder of the One Health Breakthrough Partnership (OHBP) which aims to reduce pharmaceutical pollution in the environment through sustainable One Health innovation. Sharon works for NHS Highland in Inverness as a Consultant in Pharmaceutical Public Health. She is an expert on the effect of pharmaceuticals on the environment and how clinicians can make more eco-conscious prescribing choices.
