Suddenly kettled at a climate change protest on the hottest day of the year, Kelly finds herself trapped with a volatile and unlikely mix of people. The Kettling explores what it takes before we make a stand for our beliefs and how far each of us is prepared to go. In this current climate of change and unrest The Kettling goes to the core of asking what it takes to make a person stand up and be heard; what will make you find your voice? The play is about the nature of protest; who protests and why? Is it a marker of how much you ‘care’? What does protesting even achieve?
