Join us for the screening of the documentary film The Seeds of Vandana Shiva followed by a discussion with Seeds of Scotland on seeds, growing and food sovereignty.

Get ready to learn about Vandana’s journey, connect with others and share your experiences, ideas, and plans for reclaiming ownership of food. This event is a fantastic opportunity to learn from each other, collaborate on projects, and strengthen our collective efforts.

If you are around for the weekend consider also coming to SCCAN’s Northern Gathering on Saturday 16th, a celebration of our northern communities’ achievements, shared experiences & inspiration around stories.

Please get in touch with SCCAN at [email protected] for any queries!

The European Day of Sustainable Communities (EDSC), celebrated every September since 2017, showcases thousands of transformative initiatives across Europe.

As an EDSC23 event the panel following the screening will foreground stories from the North of Scotland as part of the #JoinTheBigTable campaign, a starting point of a wider advocacy campaign that will bring community-led initiatives’ demands to EU policymakers.
