The photography exhibition “unbroken.solutions – repair is essential” by Mark A Phillips will be open to the public for free on March 2nd, 4th and 5th 2023 at Made in Stirling.
This exhibition will coincide with and celebrate Circular Communities Scotland’s Share and Repair Network’s ‘Share and Repair Gathering‘.
‘unbroken.solutions’ explores the impact and responses to environmental damage from our electrical and electronic waste.
Highlighting solutions from multiple perspectives, unbroken.solutions examines various approaches to e-waste and repairing, from looking at countries where e-repair culture exists, local authority led responses, communities and volunteer groups providing local responses, to independent repairers.
Underpinning all of these explorations are those who seek to change the laws, regulations and incentives to give us all the ‘right to repair’.
Working with communities, Repair Cafés, the Restart Project and Right to Repair Europe campaign, the aim of unbroken.solutions is to shine a light on solutions. Solutions that others can learn from and then adapt or adopt, so that together we can make better use of what we have and build more sustainable approaches.
Please note, there are no tickets needed for this event.
