Event Details

During COP27, thousands of us took to the streets across Britain and Ireland in over 40 demonstrations demanded climate justice. In the coming year as we face economic, health and social crises and an ever worsening climate crisis that is resulting in extreme weather events at home and across the world – now is the time to weave our struggles for justice together.

We can not allow this government to continue to push ahead with new coal mines and increased oil and gas expansion in the North Sea. Nor can we allow them to have no industrial plan for how industries like steel and car manufacturing will decarbonise. Workers in nearly every sector are currently organising against attacks on wages and conditions and in hundreds of communities across the country people are organising against criminally high energy bills.

Join the Climate Justice Coalition and hear from inspiring speakers from across our global movements as we take stock of the climate negotiations and gather together to make plans and develop strategies that weave our struggles together. We have a world to win!
