Edinburgh Research Office, along with the Institute for Academic Development and the Edinburgh Earth Initiative are working closely with training partners 64 Million Artists to develop a new leadership programme for female academics working in Climate Change. The programme will be designed to support women to develop new skills and knowledge, build their confidence and capacity for developing ambitious research programmes and create a network of support as they grow ideas for impact.
To inform the design of the programme, 64 Million Artists will be hosting 2 co-creation workshops on Thursday 25th May. These are open to academics who may be prospective candidates for the programme and will be designed to be a development opportunity in themselves. The sessions will be 2.5 hours long (participants need only attend one of the sessions) and there will be a lunch in between for informal networking.
The programme will likely begin in the Autumn of 2023, and the shape and content of the programme will be informed by these sessions. We can accommodate 20 people in each of these sessions and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
If you would be interested in attending the workshop, please sign up to either Session 1 or Session 2. You are also welcome to join us for lunch and please indicate if you are able to attend through the registration process.
